Another delay.. but I get used to it by now *shrug*
The OR was fully booked, they have to move my surgery to March 21st. O well... it's only a week. The good news is it'll be around midday... so I don’t have to stay in the hospital the night before. I called my parents again to reschedule their flight to the 14th.
I had my check-up last month. Contrary to what I've read, I don't have to donate my blood prior to the surgery. They say they don't do that in NL, but it's practically normal in the USA.
Gained more weight lately. I’ve got to find some new pants. I told my nutritionist about it… he laughed. He never thought of it that way.
So...what would you do if you were me with all the excitement in front of you? In the last week of
February I went along a field trip to Geneva, visiting the UN. It snowed quite heavily for the last
couple of days up in CH. I caught a cold... not a good move, huh?
Moral of the story: if you try to take
your mind off the surgery don’t do what I did or at least check the weather first :)
